Privacy Policy

Fresh Bloom is operated by Fresh Bloom Software LLC, a Texas limited liability company. This policy explains what data is used to run the app, keep the map useful, prevent spam, and support account safety.
Data Fresh Bloom uses
- Account data such as email address, user ID, display name, and optional avatar.
- Bloom posts you choose to upload, including one photo, capture time, status, access level, and location metadata.
- Approximate/public map display data needed to show blooms safely.
- Likes, saves, Bloom Visits, Favorite Scouts, badges, support purchases, reports, and feedback you submit.
- Device/app context attached to feedback or reliability events, such as app version, iOS version, and device model.
How data is used
Fresh Bloom uses data to operate the live map, show uploaded blooms, let users save and encourage blooms, confirm in-person Bloom Visits, prevent spam and cost abuse, process optional support purchases, respond to feedback, and keep the community safe.
Location and photos
Fresh Bloom requires date and location metadata for live bloom posts so the map stays real and useful. Public bloom posts may show visitable map locations. Approximate posts are shown with less precise location and do not expose directions or Bloom Visit actions.
Sharing and public profiles
Public active blooms and public profile contribution information may be visible to other users. Fresh Bloom does not show email addresses, private account metadata, payment amounts, private saved blooms, report history, or private/approximate content on another user's public profile.
Optional support purchases
Support Fresh Bloom purchases are processed by Apple StoreKit. Fresh Bloom stores transaction and entitlement records needed to show supporter state, supporter badges, and creator budget information. Payment details are handled by Apple.
Deletion
You can request account deletion in the app from Profile, Account and Privacy. Fresh Bloom attempts to remove or anonymize public account data and uploaded content while retaining records required for safety, fraud prevention, payment, or legal reasons. See Account Deletion for details.
Children's privacy
Fresh Bloom is intended for users 17 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, email support@freshbloom.app and we will delete it.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise most rights in the app through Account and Privacy, or by emailing support@freshbloom.app. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights, and we will verify requests before acting on them.
We do not sell your data
Fresh Bloom does not sell your personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We use third-party processors only to operate the app (such as hosting, image storage, maps, and payments) under their terms.
Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed to operate the app, provide your account, and meet safety, fraud-prevention, legal, tax, and accounting obligations. When you delete your account, we remove or anonymize account and content data, except records we must retain for those purposes.
Legal requests
We may access, retain, or disclose data if we believe in good faith it is required by law, legal process, or a valid government request, or is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of users, the public, or Fresh Bloom.
